Disappointing

A/C was great, considering that huminity was very high, the beds were comfortable. Close to beach.

Bathroom was very dark, they forgot to empty the bin... The smell when turning on the water was disgusting :( Drain was totally clogged, they sent technician but wasn't helpful. When we came for breakfast 1 hour!! before closing the restaurant, food was already empty, they didn't bring new food... Thx!

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered, left after a day, money grabbers tried to make us pay more

I hate to leave a bad review but this experience was awful… Staff did not seem prepared for hotel guests, didn’t know their own menu from online and only about 3 items were available after we arrived from a 6 hour journey in the evening, tried to order room service however such a lack of communication from the staff and after about 2 hours of waiting only 1 thing showed up. When I told the young lady at reception she laughed and walked off with her male colleague. We tried to find somewhere outside of the hotel for food but it’s literally a ghost town, this is not a tourist friendly place in Trinco. Room infested with ants, literally hundreds crawling all over our tea cups Bathroom stank of smoke and sewage, rusty and dated Power outage meaning we woke up in sweat (appreciate this is normal for Sri Lanka but this lasted for hours and hours) Obviously after all this we wanted to leave the next day (had booked for 3) for them to say we will be charged for 2 nights if we leave prematurely! I spoke with the manager on the phone, he offered no suggestions other than that I pay for both nights due to the tax and charges?! All in all took about 3 hours to come to a resolution, back on fourth on the phone with the manager and booking.com, in the end we got to pay for just the original first night which I still can’t believe we paid for I’m a young girl and this situation was so horrible from start to finish, I was on the verge of a panic attack as the hotel had my card on file and felt I couldn’t leave without being charged more Do not recommend, was so glad to get out of there

L’emplacement de l’hôtel était bien face à la mer et une climatisation dans la chambre.

le petit déjeuner était très décevant ainsi que les équipements dans la chambre (rouillés). de plus de gros toiles blanches étaient dans le jardin ce qui gâché totalement la vu sur la mer.

Stayed two nights . Not a four star hotel. Bathroom Cleanline was zero. Blinds brokern. Basically need more attention to general cleaning.

Struttura fatiscente, che meriterebbe una ristrutturazione strutturale. Servizi quali bar, ristorante, spa non attivi. Posizione dell'hotel isolata e considerata la mancanza totale di servizi é necessario spostarsi anche per comprare una bottiglia d'acqua! Stanza vetusta, bagni arrugginiti, lenzuola e asciugamani sporchi. Un vero incubo. Il prezzo è alto per il servizio che offre. Sono sorpresa per Booking, ho sempre utilizzato questa piattaforma ma non ho mai trovato una struttura così difforme dalla descrizione e dal punteggio.

Dirty resort on dirty beach

Staff was friendly and helpful and they tried to make us comfortable.

Location is in Trincomalee Beach, not in Uppuweli Beach (as mentioned in Booking.com). Beach is dirty and full of carbage. Hotel is also dirty and wared out and needs some renovation.

- Personnel non-compétent - Chambre sale : cheveux par terre, évier et douche bouchée, équipements de la douche rouillés, colonie de fourmis dans la douche et par terre, mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain, traces au sol, draps tâchés, rideaux qui ne servent à rien (il fait jour au levé du soleil à 6h dans la chambre) - Petit déjeuner en buffet donc ne vous levez pas trop tard si vous voulez avoir du choix (dans l'ensemble ce n'est pas bon) - Le restaurant : belles photos sur le site mais c'est tout autre chose en réalité. Sur 3 jours, nous pouvions avoir le choix entre 2 clubs sandwich et quelques plats de riz ou de "tapas". On n'avait pas réellement le choix comme toute la carte n'était pas disponible. - Piscine : NE VOUS BAIGNEZ PAS AVEC DES MAILLOTS DE BAIN CLAIR. L'eau jaunit instantanément votre maillot de bain !!! - Nous avons également eu une coupure d'eau sur une matinée et un membre de l'hôtel nous a proposé comme solution de NOUS LAVER DANS LA PISCINE. Nous avons halluciné. Et pour finir, en partant, un membre de l'hôtel à casser une roue de notre valise en la mettant dans la voiture !!

Solo il fatto che lo staff fosse sorridente

Il bagno davvero vecchio e che perde l'acqua e in più la porta del bagno della nostra camera non si poteva chiudere, lenzuola e asciugamani macchiati e arrivati alle 20 ci hanno detto che la cucina avrebbe chiuso alle 21.30 ma alle 21 "a la carte" ci hanno comunicato che avremmo potuto mangiare solo club sandwich.

Good breakfast, nice and friendly service

The hotel is in a poor condition, it's best times are over. Looks nice from the distance but if you look closely you can see what's broken or not working. Don't use the pool, water seems dirty.
